Titan

titan

Hi there!  I wanted to send you some pictures!  Enjoying the hell out of him and the kids love him as well. Titan looks for them when there off and at school and he's very bright and picks up commands quick.  If I had to do this all over again I wouldn't change a thing. Gary was wonderful and explained everything from a-z. After our conversation by phone I felt that I had went to school class #101 Bullmastiff. Gary, thank you for your time and devotion and here are the pictures I promised you.

Gus

Gus

When we decided that we wanted a Bullmastiff, we first looked at local breeders here in Atlanta.  Though their stock was good, there was nothing unique or special with their litters.  We decided to search the internet, and, oh boy are there many breeders!  Each one saying they have the most superior pups.  Our search took many weeks and countless web pages!  We finally spoke to a breeder that didn't have a litter due anytime soon, and he referred us to Ashton's, all the while singing Gary Vicory's praises.  Well, look no more!!  Just viewing Gary's dogs and seeing the superior quality, we knew that we had found the breeder we had been searching for.  After speaking with Gary, it was apparent that he was far more knowledgeable and dedicated to the breed and the breed standard.  I was hesitant about purchasing a puppy sight unseen but after speaking to Gary over a period of weeks, and hearing his enthusiasm for what he does, I found a sense of security and trust.  When our baby was ready to fly to us, the airline had a problem transporting him (we named him Ashton's Royal "Gus"), and Gary volunteered his time (and at his expense) to meet us half way across that long long long state of Texas!

We can't say enough good things about Gary Vicory and what he does.  Nor can we express how happy we are with Ashton's Royal Gus.

Thank you Ashton's Bullmastiffs!

Mosby

MosbyGary:

I have sent you photos of Ashtons Mosby Ghost Raider. He is pictured at ten months old and weights in at 130 Pounds. He and Ellie our other Ashtons puppy are welcome additions to our family. I have owned, trained and used large protection dogs in my profession for many years. We have primarily handled Labs, Shepards and Rottweillers. Ellie was our first Bullmastiff and we are now completely sold on the breed. Mosby began showing protection instincts at four months and now is the full time protector of our home and property. Your dogs are not the usual protection animals that we often see guarding homes and estates. They are calm beyond belief and friendly with every welcome guest. They thoroughly enjoy the many partys that we have in our home. Both Ellie and Mosby mix comfortably with all of our guests including small children. They have an instinct for knowing who is welcome and who is not. On the rare ocassion that someone comes to onto our property that we do not know, they are met with a very stern look and a low growl if necessary. The size and appearance of these dogs is enough to convince anyone that our home is amply protected.

We have a lake on our property and the neighborhood children fish and play there whenever they want. Our dogs are their constant companions and supervise their fishing efforts. We have found the perfect dogs.

Thanks for all your help in selecting our new pets. Hope to see you soon.

Update:

Gary:  Here are photos of Mosby at 18 months (photos 4/5/6 below).  You can see that he has matured since the last photos we sent to you at ten months.  We think that we mis-named him. We should have called him Show Stopper. Where ever we take him, people approach us and want to know all about him and the name of the Kennel that bred him.  We socialize him very often and he has become a real ham bone,  You will see that he likes to hang out at the famous Billy Bobs in Ft. Worth, Texas.  We measured him last week and found that he exactly meets the profile of the Bull Mastiff Breed.  The circumfrence of his head equals the distance from the top of his withers to the ground. That is also the exact distance from the base of his neck to the base of his tail.  He is an almost perfect square or box.  Those are the proportions that the original developers of the breed were trying to obtain. You have truly developed the Bull Mastiff as it was originally intended to be.

His training is coming along nicely.  I can take him out without a leash and he is a perfect gentlemen with everyone that we meet.  That being said, he is a very strong protector of our home and is especially protective of my wife.  Mosby is not a big barker, but he lets you know when he is distrusfull of a stranger. On the occassion that he does bark, everyone knows that he is serious and to stand back.

We have two great Ashton Dogs.  Ellie our first sent you her own email this week.  We think she is pretty special too.

Lucy

BoudiccaHi Gary!

Just wanted to send a few pictures of our youngest member of our family, Lucy. I have to tell you, when my husband first wanted to get a bullmastiff I was a bit intimidated as we have three small children. We spoke to many breeders and I was still unsure. Then we spoke to you and you assured us of the good temperament of your dogs, and you stood by it. My husband was so excited the night we picked her up (at 12:00am mind you, we are from California) and you were so patient with our family, I knew we came to the right place.

Lucy turned 1 in December and we could not be happier! She is the most patient dog with the kids, and she loves us all so much. Within 10 days that girl was housebroken and has never had an accident since. Lucy is very intelligent and almost seems to have a sense about people. Everyone who meets her wants to take her home. I cannot say enough about her temperament with the kids, I have never had a dog like her. She is a jewel. We will never get a dog from anywhere else, your dogs aren't just dogs, they are family members. Thank you for blessing us with our Lucy!

Love, The Villa Family

P.S. We are gearing up for a boy! One is not enough!

Boudicca

Boudicca Hi Gary, Ashton & dogs.

Just a quick email to say hi and good luck in your new home, I got your message with your number change.

Anyway Boudicca (Miss Piggy II) is doing great, she is perfect. she just had her first season it was a nice birthday present to herself as she had her 1st birthday on December 18th. Every night i have to check our yard for deer before I let her out to the bathroom, as she goes charging out through the woods all big and bad!... then she stops dead in her tracks and comes charging back into the house. she is such a scaredy cat, but so cute and cuddlely. She is loved by everybody who meets her and when I get my act together and the computer and camera etc. I would love to do a testimonial for your web site.

Best regards,

Sue

Frankie

FrankieI came to Arizona to pick up "FRANKIE" or as my girlfriend and I call him "FRANKZILLA", about 5 weeks ago after many conversations with Gary. His knowledge and expertise on this breed really impressed me and Gary really helped me understand what I was getting into. I was very impressed with the dogs at ASHTON'S, their temperament, size, and disposition.

I've had FRANKIE for 5 weeks now, and he's been amazing. He is now a little over 3 months old and weights 45 lbs. As a puppy he has a lot of energy, but very willing to learn and please! Everyone who meets "FRANKIE" is so impressed with his calmness and his temperament, which obviously is due to the great breeding practices of Gary. FRANKIE is growing like a weed at 5 lbs a week and becoming very strong. I can't say enough about FRANKIE and how please I am to have gotten him from Gary. I call Gary from time to time for questions regarding Bullmastiffs and he's always eager to call me back and talk me through my questions. I'll be keeping you posted on FRANKZILLA'S progress!

Thanks Again,

Mike

Boris

BorisMy friend, Daniel Messina, told me about Gary and how much he loved his new puppy, Clyde. I visited his house and saw Clyde, and I could not believe how beautiful this puppy was. I called Gary, and he was so passionate and knowledgeable about the Bullmastiff breed, that I obtained a puppy, Boris, from him. I am so impressed with how Boris is growing and developing, and I am so happy with Boris' good looks. He lets my son climb all over him and just lays there, wagging his tail and waiting for more.

Boris is 7 ½ months old and weighs about 90 pounds. I can't wait for my chance to get another great puppy to add to our family. Thank you, Gary, for being there to take all of my telephone calls, for answering all of my questions with so much heart, and for sharing your passion with me and my family.

Clyde

Clyde @ 10 monthsDear Gary,

Just a note to thank you for my dog. He is exactly what I was looking for. He is 130lbs of muscle at 10 months old. He is super sweet and affectionate with me and my children, never leaves my side, and shows a promising future of guarding my family. Some people might be hesitant of buying a puppy online because there are not many people like Gary out there. He is always available to take a call for a question about anything regarding the dog. He delivers what he promises and is very knowledgeable about dogs in general.

Attached are photos of my dog's progress. First pictures are of the dog at 4 months old, second pictures are at 7 months, and third set are at 10 months. I put the same love and dedication into my dog that Gary puts into his breeding program which helped create a great looking dog that is well adjusted. My dog trainer has been training dogs for thirty years and the 1st time he saw the dog at 4 months he said "that's a home run".

Thank you again for my dog. You should only know how appreciative I am, and cannot wait to get another one.

Best Regards,

Daniel Messina
